I would not be surprised if Van's campaign leaked that out just so he could get some people talking about his campaign.

Note that Corker is almost inversely proportional to undecided.

Analysis: Senate Race Polling
Contributing to the unusual amount of buzz today that Van Hilleary may drop out of the Senate race tomorrow (which I would not believe for a second) is this chart, which shows all of the publically released polls in the US Senate race to date. Along with a predictable decline in undecided voters, Hilleary's numbers are also on steady decline, concurrent with the rollar coaster of Ed Bryant's polling that nearly reaches Corker's astronomical ascendency. I thought this site was above spreading false rumors. Why on earth would Van drop out just because of a student poll.
