Breaking: Alexander Chief of Staff Joins Corker Campaign

Tom Ingram, a longtime denizen of the Tennessee political scene, will join Bob Corker's campaign as "campaign chairman," according to the Nashville Post. Ingram currently serves as Chief of Staff to Republican Senator Lamar Alexander and is well known for his lobbying, PR, and consulting firm - the Ingram Group. Ingram will manage a Corker for Senate office in Nashville, after some complaints that the traditional epicenter of Tennessee politics was passed over in favor of Chattanooga, where the Corker camp is currently headquartered. Corker campaign officials hope Ingram's addition will provide another spark in what they categorized as the gaining momentum of the Corker camp.
