There's a GOP KKK story brewing out of Alabama. A candidate for a Civil Appeals Court position by the name of Terri Willingham Thomas has got extensive ties apparently to the Klan. Her brother has represented Klan members and her mom and dad were arrested in the 80's by federal agents for various gun related charges. Her dad was even a grand wizard of the KKK in Cullman, Al. and he was spotted putting up an infamous sign in Cullman in 1970 warning all blacks to get out of Cullman or else. She claims she knew nothing about all this but thats kind of hard to believe.

"Terri Willingham Thomas has got extensive ties apparently to the Klan."

So what? By the same token, Harold Ford has "extensive ties" to political corruption, but we're not supposed to be concerned about that.

And, since when is a state that rejected it's homegrown (D) candidate for President considered "moderate?"
