When I first heard about Chip Saltsman going to Arkansas, in order to work on the Huckabee campaign, I thought he was crazy. What he has done in the past 10 months is nothing short of amazing – win or lose in January.
When I heard about Tom Lee and Karl Dean I thought Tom was getting on board with a winner because Nashville’s demographics have changed and we tend to vote for candidates with Dean's and Cooper's pedigree as opposed to Clement’s.
My vote goes to Saltsman.

It's time to vote for the 2007 Best in Politics awards.
We were lucky to receive a number of submissions from all regions of the state for this year's awards. These candidates represent the best in the 2007 political cycle and now it's your turn to select the winner. You can read a short description of each of the candidates below on the nominations page. After that, simply cast your ballot. You can cast one ballot every 24 hours, so keep coming back to cast your vote. Thanks for your vote. Polls close January 1, 2008 - the second anniversary of the inception of this blog. Thanks for your continued support!
Adam you run a nice blog. But the results of these polls clearly indicate it is pretty much a right wing echo chamber. If you're okay with this, as I suspect a Fred Thompson contributor would be, then fine. But you have a chance to do better. Freddie ready as a top saga? The guy is tanking. And if you guys can't see that, well, it's just sad.
